Networking and collaboration between providers of services whether they are government, not for profit, community initiatives, is vital to enable services to better support and assist their clients and customers with current information and assistance.

The Woolgoolga Neighbourhood Centre convenes a bi-monthly Interagency meeting to support informal collaboration, identify and respond to gaps in service delivery between services providing support in the Woolgoolga area.

The meetings also include identified Guest Speakers and are hosted by different organisations in Woolgoolga.

The next interagency meeting will be held at 2.00pm on Monday the 4th of November at the Meeting Room at the Woolgoolga Library, Ganderton Street, Woolgoolga. On-street parking is available. Guest Speakers will be:

  • Mark from TAFE to discuss the Cert 111 in Land & Conservation , a course which is delivered in Woolgoolga with classroom based study as well as field work. The course has been running in Woolgoolga for the last 2 years.
  • Kari Hilton a Solicitor with Gallagher Solicitors & Conveyances who provides Free Legal Referral Service from the Neighbourhood Centre on Wednesday mornings.

If you would like to hear from a wide range of services operating in the Woolgoolga area, or a new service commencing in Woolgoolga, and would like to be a guest speaker or wish to collaborate about an issue or gap, or share information about any up-coming events please email Kate wncvolunteer.kate.shaw@iinet.net.au OR Rashmere on RB.WNC@bigpond.net.au.
